Author’s Note
This book was born from a longing to see the body of Christ awaken to the truth of God’s grace and the reality of the Holy Spirit’s work in this generation. For years, I observed how many sincere believers were caught between the old and the new — practicing the form of religion while missing its power. They loved God deeply, yet remained tied to traditions that belonged to a past era.
As I studied the Scripture and sought the Spirit’s guidance, one truth grew clearer: the message of water baptism was for preparation, but the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for transformation. We no longer need rivers to find God; He now lives in us through His Spirit. My desire is not to criticize those who hold to the old ways, but to open hearts to the fullness of what Christ accomplished through grace.
This book is a message for the present hour — a call to step out of the shadow and into the light, to exchange ritual for relationship, and to live as people baptized with fire, not just water. May every reader encounter the living Spirit within these pages, and may your faith be reignited to walk boldly in the grace that Jesus died to give us. The time for water has ended.
