They fight for political freedom yet ignore spiritual liberty. But what good is knowing every right in the constitution of a country if we are ignorant of the constitution of heaven?

We begin to applaud what God condemns and silence what God commands. And we do it all under the mistaken assumption that God understands our feelings more than He honors His Word. As Isaiah 40:8 says, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” Trends fade. Cultures evolve. But God’s constitution never expires.
There is an urgent need for the people of God to return to the authority of the Scripture. To reestablish the Word as the foundation of faith, conduct, and decision-making. We cannot build our lives on sand and expect to withstand the storm. Jesus warned of this when He said: “Everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock… But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand” (Matthew 7:24–26, ESV). A house built on the sand of culture, convenience, or personal comfort will eventually collapse. But a life built on the solid rock of God’s Word will endure every trial and remain standing.
So, ask yourself: What governs your life? Is it God’s Word or worldly logic? Is it the Scripture or popular opinion? Is it divine principle or personal comfort?
